How does it work

CodeZ Matrix™ and PDF417 are integrated data encoding solutions, enabling you to encode vast amounts of data in an extremely small area .

How does it work? During document production, if your application software provider is an authorized CodeZ Partner, your application program will automatically call the CodeZ MatrixT or PDF417 bar coding logic, which then creates a bar code to the exacting standards required by high-speed print and scan operations. If your application software provider is not currently an authorized Partner, COPI will install a simple routine to allow you to seamlessly implement the CodeZ coding logic. This generated 2D symbol is then placed on the document as part of the print stream using the provided COPI fonts .

• Smoother inserter upgrades.
  When the time comes to upgrade your insertion equipment, the integrated COPI bar coding solution will allow you to do so easily and without major software integration.

  With the CodeZ MatrixT and PDF417 solutions, wrinkled, smudged, and even torn bar codes are often still readable. This means less manual intervention in the insertion process, reducing operations costs.
